Introduction:
Sridhar alias CD Munde won this title during our Engineering days.
The transition is quite silly and baseless - Sridhar become Cd-dhar and then to Cd-munde. The reason being at those times he used to circulate CDs[movies, pics Good & Bad :p].
Incident
Malli had a webserver related query and need to consult an expert.
I could think of CD Munde and gave him his mobile number along with his Nick.
Malli got the number right but erroneously wrote down a wrong number and started calling from his land line...
Conversations:
Malli calls from landline....
Malli: Hello can I speak to CD Munde?
A female on the other side....
lady: ಯಾವ ಮುಂಡೆಗೆ?
Malli:
lady: ಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲ....
Malli: .. ok (and hangs up.)
Malli calls from his personal Cell phone....
Malli chats with me and confirms the number again, and understands that he is married and that it could be his wife...
Malli: ಹಲೋ ಸೀಡಿ ಮುಂಡೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಫೋನ್ ಕೊಡ್ತಿರ
again the wrong number and the same female on the other side....
lady: ಯಾರೀ ನೀವು ಯಾಕ್ರೆ ಸುಮ್ನೆ ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಧಿರ?
Malli: ನಿಮ್ಮ husband ಜೊತೆ ಮಾಥಡ್ಬೇಕಿತು.
lady: ಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲ.... ಮಾತೆ ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡ್ಬೇಡಿ !!!
Malli: .. ok sorry(and hangs up).
Malli calls again....
Meanwhile I call up cd munde and confirm that everything is fine with his cell and his phone is with him. Malli now is a little worried but still decides to give one final shot after again re-confirming the number. But he again fails to notice the number he is dialing is incorrect.
Malli: ಹಲೋ
lady: ತಿರ್ಗ ಯಾಕ್ರೆ ಸುಮ್ನೆ ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡಿ ತಲೆ ತಿನ್ತಿರ?
Malli: ok I am sorry.. (and hangs up).
Fuming malli calls me and realises that he has been consistently dialing the wrong number, finally calls back that lady again and apologies that he had been dialing the wrong number all the while and he is extremely sorry about it....
Finale:
#1 After laughing uncontrollably I had throat & stomach ache.
#2 CD Munde too can't control laughing every time he is reminded of it...
